Nana Forte (Slovenia)

Nana Forte is one of the most highly regarded Slovenian composers in the field of contemporary choral music. She studied composition at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden, and the Berlin University of the Arts.Having sung in choirs since early childhood, she has maintained a deep connection to vocal music, which continues to play a central role in her artistic output. Her compositions—ranging from choral and chamber music to orchestral and stage works—have been commissioned and performed by leading ensembles such as the Bavarian Radio Choir, the Swedish Radio Choir, the Danish National Vocal Ensemble, Chorwerk Ruhr, the SWR Vokalensemble, the Helsinki Chamber Choir, the State Choir Latvija, Chamber Choir Ireland, the BBC Singers, and many others.Her music has been featured at major international festivals including ULTIMA Oslo Contemporary Music Festival, Young Euro Classic, ISCM World Music Days, and Europa Cantat. It has also been presented in prestigious choral conducting competitions such as the Eric Ericson Award, the World Choral Conducting Competition in Hong Kong, and the Fosco Corti International Competition for Choral Conductors.Her works are published by the Swedish publisher Gehrmans Musikförlag. She is also a lecturer in music subjects at the Faculty of Education of the University of Maribor.

Giuseppe Di Bianco (Italia)

Regarded as one of the most compelling Italian choral composers of his generation, he pursued humanities studies, graduating with honours and academic distinction in Foreign Languages and Literatures.He received his artistic training with P. D’Amico and G. Sàndor in piano, and with E. Buondonno (school of L. Refice / A. Longo) in composition, earning diplomas in piano, composition, choral music and conducting, and music education at the Conservatories of Salerno and Naples. He further refined his studies at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena and the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with G. Manzoni, S. Sciarrino, L. De Pablo and L. Andriessen, and attended seminars in musical analysis with J.J. Nattiez and J. Schmalfeldt (Tufts University, MA).He has been a guest composer at North Carolina University (USA), the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and the Prefectural University of Arts in Aichi (Japan). For his compositional activity, with particular focus on choral repertoire, he has received first prizes and distinctions in national and international competitions, including the C.A. Seghizzi Trophy, the International Choir Laboratory XXI Century (St. Petersburg), the Amadeus International Competition (Badajoz, Spain), the ACP Piemonte Competition, and the J. Ribeiro de Sousa International Prize (Portugal).His compositions, published by Feniarco, «Композитор» (St. Petersburg), and Sheet Music Plus Press, have been performed across Europe, the United States, Russia, the Philippines, and Vatican City, and have been broadcast by Rai Radio3 and WCPE.In 2025, his work Aetherium was selected to represent Italy at Expo 2025 Osaka, as part of a joint project by the Universität Mozarteum and the AEC (Association Européenne des Conservatoires).From 2020 to 2026, he served as a member of the Music Commission of Feniarco; in 2022, he was awarded a civic honour of merit by the City of Maiori (Amalfi Coast) in recognition of his long-standing artistic activity.
