To take part in the seminar, applicants must complete the application form by 15 May 2026. The form requires submission of a curriculum vitae outlining studies and musical experience as a composer, two recent choral compositions, and a copy of an identity document.
At the time of application, participants are also required to pay the participation fee by bank transfer to Feniarco APS (Intesa Sanpaolo – IBAN IT79P0306909606100000060527), via PayPal / credit card, or using the Italian “Carta del docente”.

Participation fees for active composers are as follows:

A 20% discount applies to participants under the age of 27 on 19 July 2026.
A 20% discount also applies to auditors.

Country groups

The participation fee varies according to the country of origin. Countries are identified using standard internet domain codes.
Country group 1: AT, BE, CH, DE, DK, ES, FI, FR, HK, IE, IL, IS, IT, JP, KR, NL, NO, SE, SG, UK, US
Country group 2: CN, CZ, EE, GR, HR, HU, LT, LV, PL, PT, SI, SK, TW
Country group 3: AL, AM, BA, BG, BY, GE, KZ, MD, ME, MK, RO, RS, RU, TR, UA.

Membership

Indirect ECA members: if you or your choir are members of a choral organisation that is itself a member of the European Choral Association (ECA) / Friends of the European Choral Association and in good standing (Groups 1 and 2). The list of ECA members is available at www.eca-ec.org → Members.
If the number of applications for active participation exceeds 20, a selection will be made based on CVs and submitted compositions. Results will be announced by 31 May 2026. Applicants who are not selected will be refunded if they choose not to participate as listeners.

Noël Minet Scholarship

Participants may apply for the Noël Minet Scholarship offered by the European Choral Association, which provides a reimbursement of up to €500 per participant. The application deadline is 30 April 2026. Further information is available on the ECA website.

Accommodation and meals

The seminar organisation offers a board and lodging arrangement: accommodation in double rooms with private facilities at the Convitto Regionale F. Chabod (see photo below), with full board (from lunch on Monday 20 July to breakfast on Sunday 26 July) at a fixed rate of €50 per day.
