The options for the ateliers are only indicative; the final subdivision is determined by the artistic director, maestro Carlo Pavese, together with the festival organisation on the basis of various factors such as: number of staff, group size, curricula, previous participation in the festival, other characteristics. The ateliers are held in Italian or English as specified in the section dedicated to the description of the ateliers.
Choir to choir concerts
Several concerts dedicated to registered groups are scheduled during the festival. Every participant group can perform in choir-to-choir concerts.
The concerts are divided into several days and in different locations and provide for each choir the presentation of one or two pieces taken from their own repertoire (maximum duration 5 minutes). The piece must be indicated at the time of registration. In the concerts, pre-recorded musical accompaniment is not allowed and we kindly invite you to choose a repertoire from your own country. The organisation will announce near the festival the day and the order of performance.
Gran Concerto di Primavera
On Saturday afternoon all the singers participate in the Gran Concerto di Primavera to perform the compositions learned during the workshops.
Participants will be accommodated in Montecatini Terme in 3- or 4-star hotels with rooms sleeping 2 to 4 people with private bathrooms. The number of single rooms available (assigned only upon request by the group) is limited and involves a supplement of €30 per night per person.
The tourist tax, to be paid directly to the hotel hosting the group, is not included in the participation fee (here are the rates for the city of Montecatini). In September 2025, the tourist tax is €2.00 per person for 3-star hotels and €3.00 per person for 4-star hotels. It does not apply to children under 10 years of age.
For any special needs of the group related to the festival programme and the region of origin, the festival organisers can accommodate these needs by creating a personalised programme for your stay in Montecatini Terme (with early arrival or late departure). In this case, please contact the festival office directly (festivaldiprimavera@feniarco.it).
For all interested teachers and choir directors, Coro LAB, an in-person session, is also scheduled for 2026. It will take place on 8-11 April in Montecatini Terme as part of the Spring Festival for primary and secondary schools and children's choirs. As usual, the training course is aimed at conductors, teachers and musicians, with lectures to broaden their knowledge and a study tour to follow the workshops closely.
All transportation costs to reach or leave Montecatini Terme are at charge of every participating group, such as the bus entrance tax and the bus parking payments (you can find the fees on www.montecatiniparcheggi.it).
IMPORTANT! Once you arrive in Montecatini Terme, you can reach all the festival venues comfortably on foot so there is no need to have the bus available during your stay.

Montecatini Terme is easily accessible for those who choose to travel by plane. In fact, in just 40-50 minutes by car, you can reach both Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport and Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, also known as Peretola. Both airports are connected to the largest Italian and European cities. Pisa Airport is directly connected to Pisa Centrale Station by rail, with trains running every 30 minutes. From Pisa Centrale, there are numerous connections to Montecatini Centro.Florence Airport also has direct access to the Florence-Pisa A11 motorway and the A1 “Autostrada del Sole” motorway. The airport is located north-west of Florence; taxis and a shuttle bus connect the airport with the historic city centre and the Santa Maria Novella central railway station. From here, there are several trains to Montecatini Centro railway station.
